Community Guidelines
The VORTEX eSports code of conduct. Building a respectful, competitive, and inclusive esports community.
Last Updated: May 24, 2026Our Community Philosophy
VORTEX eSports is more than a tournament organizer — we are a community of passionate Free Fire MAX players united by the love of competitive gaming. We believe great competition can only thrive in an environment of mutual respect, fairness, and sportsmanship.
These guidelines apply to all VORTEX eSports platforms including Discord, WhatsApp groups, in-game interactions during tournaments, Instagram comments, and all other communication channels associated with VORTEX eSports.
Violation of these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent bans from VORTEX eSports events and platforms. Our moderators and administrators have the authority to take action on any behavior that violates these guidelines, even if not explicitly listed below.

Zero-tolerance violations result in immediate permanent ban from all VORTEX eSports platforms and events. No warnings will be issued. Severe cases may be reported to relevant authorities.
Anti-Harassment Policy
VORTEX eSports is committed to providing a harassment-free environment for all community members. Harassment is defined as unwanted, repeated conduct that causes distress or creates a hostile environment.
What Constitutes Harassment
- Persistently messaging someone who has asked you to stop
- Following a player across multiple channels to continue an argument
- Making derogatory comments about a player's performance repeatedly
- Creating alternate accounts to harass someone who has blocked you
- Coordinating with others to mass-report or pile on a specific player
- Targeting players with negative comments based on their language or region
If You Are Being Harassed
- Save screenshots of the harassment as evidence
- Block the harassing user on the relevant platform
- Contact a VORTEX eSports moderator immediately via Discord or WhatsApp
- Do not retaliate — this can complicate the investigation
- All harassment reports are treated confidentially

Voice Chat (Discord Voice Channels)
- Do not disrupt others' voice communications with excessive background noise
- Do not play music or sounds through your microphone without permission
- Mute yourself when not speaking in team voice channels

Penalties & Enforcement
VORTEX eSports uses a progressive discipline system for most violations. However, severe violations may bypass lower-level penalties entirely.

First-time minor violations. Written warning issued. Record kept on file.
Level 2 — Suspension
Repeated violations or moderate severity. 7–30 day ban from tournaments and Discord.
Level 3 — Permanent Ban
Severe or repeated violations. Permanent ban from all VORTEX eSports platforms and events.
Appeals Process
- Warnings: No formal appeal required — contact an admin directly to discuss
- Suspensions: Appeal may be submitted within 48 hours via WhatsApp or Discord DM to an admin
- Permanent bans: One appeal permitted within 7 days. Submit detailed explanation and evidence
- Zero-tolerance violations (hate speech, threats, doxxing): No appeal process available
All disciplinary decisions are made by senior VORTEX eSports moderators. Our moderation team strives to be fair and consistent. If you believe a decision was made unfairly, contact a senior admin directly.
Fair Competition Standards
Beyond technical fair play (covered in our Terms & Conditions), we expect all participants to uphold the spirit of fair competition:
- Play to win with full effort in every match — deliberately underperforming disrespects all competitors
- Do not exploit opponent's technical difficulties for competitive advantage without reporting them
- Respect the match schedule — punctuality is a form of respect for your opponents
- Do not use psychological tactics that cross into harassment — competitive banter is acceptable, personal attacks are not
- Win with humility and lose with grace — both define your character as a competitor
- Share gameplay knowledge and tips with newer players — community growth benefits everyone
- Celebrate wins within reason — excessive taunting crosses the line into poor sportsmanship
