Terms & Conditions

By participating in VORTEX eSports tournaments, you agree to these terms. Please read carefully before registering.

Last Updated: May 24, 2026

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: VORTEX eSports organizes skill-based esports tournaments for entertainment purposes only. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with Garena International, Free Fire MAX, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. Free Fire MAX and related names are registered trademarks of Garena International. All tournament activities are independently organized.

Section 01

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in tournaments organized by VORTEX eSports ("we," "us," "the Organizer"), including the Vortex Champion League and all associated events.

By registering for any VORTEX eSports tournament, joining our Discord server, paying an entry fee, or participating in any of our events, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not participate in our tournaments.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced on our Discord and WhatsApp. Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Section 02

Eligibility Requirements

To participate in VORTEX eSports tournaments, you must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Hold a valid, active Free Fire MAX account in good standing
  • Not be banned, suspended, or restricted on Free Fire MAX at the time of registration
  • Have a stable internet connection capable of supporting competitive gameplay
  • Be a resident of India or have a valid Indian payment method for entry fee and prize distribution
  • Provide accurate and truthful registration information
  • Not be a current employee, volunteer, or administrator of VORTEX eSports
  • Agree to follow all rules, guidelines, and decisions of VORTEX eSports tournament administrators
  • Have a valid Discord account to receive match room IDs and communicate with administrators

Registration for a tournament does not guarantee a slot. VORTEX eSports reserves the right to verify eligibility and reject any registration at our sole discretion without obligation to provide reasons.

Section 03

Age Restrictions

Participation in VORTEX eSports tournaments is subject to the following age requirements:

  • Players must be 13 years of age or older to participate in any VORTEX eSports tournament
  • Players under 18 years of age must have explicit parental or guardian consent before registering and paying any entry fees
  • For prize-winning players under 18, prize distribution may require parental/guardian verification
  • Entry fees paid on behalf of a minor are the responsibility of the parent or guardian
  • By registering, you confirm that you meet the age requirements or have obtained appropriate parental consent

Warning: Misrepresentation of age during registration may result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of any prizes or entry fees without refund.

Section 04

Fair Play Policy

VORTEX eSports is committed to providing a fair and competitive gaming environment. All participants are required to adhere to our fair play standards:

Gameplay Integrity

Play to the best of your genuine ability. Deliberately throwing matches or manipulating outcomes is prohibited.

Team Authenticity

Only registered team members may participate. Account sharing or playing on behalf of another player is prohibited.

Sportsmanship

Treat all opponents and administrators with respect. Toxic behavior, harassment, and abuse are grounds for disqualification.

Punctuality

Join match rooms within the specified time limit. Late joiners may result in match forfeiture at the admin's discretion.

Match Etiquette

  • Do not communicate with opponents outside of designated channels during matches
  • Do not share room IDs or passwords with non-participating players
  • Report any technical issues immediately to tournament administrators
  • Decisions made by VORTEX eSports administrators during matches are final
  • Screenshot match results as instructed and submit within the required timeframe
Section 05

No Hacking / Cheating Policy

VORTEX eSports maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against any form of cheating, hacking, or use of unauthorized software. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Aimbots, wallhacks, speed hacks, or any game-modifying software
  • Account boosting or playing on a boosted account to gain unfair rank advantage
  • Emulator usage in mobile-designated tournaments (unless explicitly permitted)
  • VPN usage to manipulate ping or game region, unless technically required
  • Bug exploitation or using known game glitches for competitive advantage
  • Match fixing or colluding with opponents to predetermine match results
  • Stream sniping if any match is being broadcast live
  • Multi-accounting — registering under multiple names for the same tournament

Consequences: Any player found cheating will be immediately disqualified, permanently banned from all future VORTEX eSports events, forfeit all entry fees and prizes, and may be reported to Garena for account action. Evidence of cheating will be documented and retained.

We reserve the right to request gameplay recordings, screenshots, or device proof as evidence in cheating investigations. Refusal to cooperate with an investigation will be treated as an admission of guilt.

Section 06

6.2 Investigation Process

  • All disputes are reviewed by at least two VORTEX eSports administrators
  • Both parties will be given an opportunity to present evidence
  • Decisions are typically communicated within 24 hours of dispute filing

6.3 Final Decision

The decision of VORTEX eSports administrators in any dispute is final and binding. Disputes may not be escalated to legal proceedings for match outcome decisions. Players agree to accept administrator decisions as a condition of participation.

Section 07

Account Suspension Rights

VORTEX eSports reserves the right to suspend, ban, or restrict any participant at our sole discretion for the following reasons (including but not limited to):

  • Violation of these Terms & Conditions or Community Guidelines

  • Unclaimed prizes after 7 days may be forfeited at our discretion

Winners are solely responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes on prize money received. VORTEX eSports provides prize breakdowns upon request for tax purposes.

8.4 Prize Modification

VORTEX eSports reserves the right to modify prize structures in the event of insufficient tournament registrations or unforeseen circumstances. Such modifications will be announced before the tournament begins. Players who disagree may withdraw before tournament commencement and request a refund per our Refund Policy.

Section 09

Tournament Cancellation Clause

VORTEX eSports reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel any tournament for the following reasons:

  • Insufficient registrations (minimum participant threshold not met)
  • Technical issues with the Free Fire MAX platform or servers

  • Widespread cheating or integrity violations detected before the event
  • Payment gateway or prize pool management issues

In the event of a full cancellation before the tournament begins, all entry fees will be refunded within 5–7 business days. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.

Section 12

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms, tournament participation, or any related matter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

Participants agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of Indian courts for the resolution of any disputes. VORTEX eSports encourages participants to first attempt resolution through direct communication with our support team before pursuing legal action.
