How do I register for a VORTEX eSports tournament?
Registration is done through our official channels:
- Join our Discord server (Vortex eSports) and check the #registrations channel
- Or message us on WhatsApp (+91 6393062931) to get current tournament details
- Pay the entry fee via UPI to our official payment details (shared in registration channels only)
- Send your payment screenshot + Player UID + team name to the admin to confirm your slot
Tournament announcements are also posted on our Instagram (@vortex.ffmax.esports).
What information do I need to register?
You will need to provide:
- Your Free Fire MAX Player UID (Game ID)
- Your in-game name (IGN)
- Team name (for squad tournaments)
- All squad member UIDs (for team tournaments)
- Your WhatsApp number or Discord username for communication
- Payment transaction ID / screenshot as proof of entry fee payment
How many players can be in one squad?
Squad size depends on the tournament format announced for each event. Common formats include:
- Solo: 1 player per entry
- Duo: 2 players per entry
- Squad: 4 players per entry
Check the specific tournament announcement for the format. Mixed-size teams are not permitted — you must register with exactly the required number of players.
Is there an age requirement to participate?
Yes. Players must be at least 13 years old to participate. Players under 18 require explicit parental or guardian consent before registering and paying entry fees. Parents/guardians are responsible for any financial commitments made on behalf of minors. See our Terms & Conditions for full details.
Can I change my team members after registering?
Team changes may be allowed up to 24 hours before the tournament starts, subject to admin approval. Contact us via WhatsApp or Discord with the change request and reason. Changes are not guaranteed and are at the admin's discretion. No changes are permitted once the tournament has started.
Payments & Entry Fees
How do I pay the tournament entry fee?
Entry fees are paid via UPI. Our official UPI payment details are shared exclusively through:
- Our official Discord server registration channels
- Our WhatsApp number (+91 6393062931)
- Our Instagram (@vortex.ffmax.esports)
Never pay to unverified accounts. If someone contacts you claiming to be VORTEX eSports and requests payment through unofficial channels, do not pay and report to us immediately.
My payment was deducted but I didn't get a confirmation. What do I do?
Contact our support team immediately with:
- Your payment screenshot showing the transaction ID and amount
- Your Player UID and team name
- The tournament name you registered for
Reach us on WhatsApp (+91 6393062931) or Discord. We verify all payments and will confirm your slot within 2–4 hours during business hours.
I paid twice by mistake. Can I get a refund for the duplicate?
Yes, duplicate payments are fully refunded. Contact us immediately with both transaction IDs. After verification, the duplicate amount will be refunded to your original UPI account within 3–5 business days. See our Refund Policy for complete details.
Can I get a refund if I withdraw before the tournament?
Refund eligibility depends on when you withdraw:
- 48+ hours before tournament: Full refund
- 24–48 hours before tournament: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours before tournament: No refund

Match Timings & Room IDs
When are matches usually scheduled?
Match timings vary per tournament and are announced in the tournament schedule shared after registration closes. Common tournament time slots used by VORTEX eSports are:
- Evening slots: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST (weekdays)
- Afternoon/Evening: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST (weekends)
Specific schedules for each event are shared on Discord and WhatsApp after registration is confirmed.
How will I receive my Room ID?
Room IDs are shared 15–30 minutes before match start through:
- Your designated match channel on our Discord server
- WhatsApp — either group message or direct DM from admin
Make sure you have joined our Discord server and have access to your match category channel. If you haven't received your Room ID 10 minutes before match time, contact admin immediately via WhatsApp.
What happens if I join the room late?
Players must join the match room within the waiting period specified by the admin (typically 5–10 minutes after Room ID distribution). Failure to join within this window may result in your slot being forfeited and no refund issued. If you anticipate being late due to a genuine technical issue, contact the admin before the match starts.
Can I share my Room ID with someone outside my team?
No. Sharing Room IDs with players outside your registered team is strictly prohibited and is grounds for immediate disqualification without refund. Room IDs are exclusive to registered participants for that match. This rule protects match integrity and all participants' fair play.
Prize Withdrawal & Distribution
How do I claim my prize after winning?
After the tournament results are announced:
- Contact our admin within 7 days via WhatsApp or Discord
- Provide your Player UID, team name, and the tournament name
- Share your UPI ID for prize transfer
- Admin will verify your identity against registration records
- Prize will be transferred to your UPI-linked bank account within 3–7 business days
How long does it take to receive prize money?
Prize transfers are initiated within 1–2 business days of identity verification and typically credit to your bank account within 3–7 business days after initiation. UPI transfers are often faster (1–3 days). If you haven't received your prize within 7 business days of the transfer being initiated, contact our support team with your transaction reference.
What if I provided an incorrect UPI ID for prize collection?
If a transfer fails due to an incorrect UPI ID, contact us within 48 hours with the corrected UPI ID. We will attempt the transfer again. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect UPI details provided by winners. Ensure you double-check your UPI ID before submitting it to the admin.
Do I need to pay tax on prize winnings?
Prize winnings from skill-based competitions may be subject to Income Tax under applicable Indian tax laws. Winners are solely responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes on prize money received. VORTEX eSports provides prize breakdowns for tax documentation upon request. We strongly recommend consulting a tax advisor regarding your specific tax obligations.
Discord Community
How do I join the VORTEX eSports Discord server?
Join our Discord server through the invite link shared on our Instagram (@vortex.ffmax.esports), WhatsApp, or by contacting us directly. Once inside, read the rules channel and complete any verification steps. After verification, you'll have access to announcement, registration, and general channels. Tournament-specific channels are unlocked after registration.
I was removed from the Discord server. What happened?
Server removals occur for violations of our Community Guidelines — including toxic behavior, spam, harassment, cheating, or repeated rule violations. If you believe you were removed in error, contact us on WhatsApp (+91 6393062931) within 48 hours to appeal. Provide your Discord username and explain the situation. Appeal decisions are final for zero-tolerance violations.
Do I need Discord to participate in tournaments?
Discord is strongly recommended as our primary communication platform for Room ID delivery and match coordination. However, if you have genuine difficulty accessing Discord, contact us on WhatsApp (+91 6393062931) and we will arrange alternative Room ID delivery. Note that Discord provides the most reliable and timely match communications.
Rule Violations & Disputes
How do I report a cheater or rule violation?
Report rule violations through our official channels:
- Contact an admin immediately on Discord (the #disputes channel or admin DM)
- Or message via WhatsApp with your evidence
- Provide: the violating player's UID, match details, and all evidence (screenshots, recordings)
Reports must be submitted within 15 minutes of a match ending. Evidence is reviewed by at least two admins before any action is taken.
What happens if I'm accused of cheating unfairly?
All cheating allegations go through a fair investigation process. You will have the opportunity to present your own evidence and explanation. No action is taken solely on accusation — evidence is required. If the investigation finds the accusation was false, it is documented and the accuser may face consequences for false reporting. Our goal is always accurate justice, not quick punishment.
How do I file a match dispute?
To file a match dispute:
- Contact admin within 15 minutes of the match concluding
- Provide: your UID, team name, match details, and all evidence
- Admin review typically concludes within 24 hours (complex cases up to 72 hours)
- Administrator decisions are final and binding

Is VORTEX eSports affiliated with Garena or Free Fire MAX?
No. VORTEX eSports is a completely independent, third-party tournament organizer with no affiliation, endorsement, partnership, or official connection to Garena International or Free Fire MAX. We organize tournaments within the Free Fire MAX game environment as independent event coordinators. Free Fire MAX is a registered trademark of Garena International.
What if I need urgent help during a match?
For urgent match-time issues, contact our admin immediately through:
- WhatsApp (+91 6393062931) — send a message explaining the issue
- Discord — message in the #support channel or DM an online admin
During active tournaments, admins are online and monitoring. Always document any issues with screenshots and timestamps for dispute purposes.
