How do I register for a tournament?
Join our Discord server (Vortex eSports) or WhatsApp (+91 6393062931) to get the latest tournament registration details. Registration links, entry fees, and slot availability are posted in our announcements channel. Pay the entry fee via UPI and share your transaction ID with the admin to confirm your slot.
What happens if I face a payment issue during registration?
If your payment fails but money was deducted, it will typically be reversed by your bank within 5–7 business days. If it isn't, contact us with your transaction reference. Do not make a second payment without confirming the first. For duplicate payments, contact us immediately for a refund.
How do I receive my Room ID for a match?
Room IDs are shared approximately 15–30 minutes before match time through our official Discord channels (in your designated match category) and via WhatsApp for registered teams. Make sure to join Discord before your tournament begins and check your DMs and the room-id channel.
How long does prize withdrawal take?
Prize distribution typically occurs within 3–7 business days after the tournament concludes and winners are verified. Winners must claim their prize within 7 days of the tournament end by contacting us with their UPI ID. Prizes are sent via UPI transfer directly to your bank account.
What happens if I'm accused of cheating?
If a cheating allegation is made against you, our admins will investigate with evidence from both parties. You'll have an opportunity to defend yourself and provide counter-evidence. If found guilty, you face immediate disqualification, forfeiture of prizes and entry fees, and a permanent ban. False accusations against others are also a violation of our guidelines.
Can I get a refund if I withdraw before the tournament?
Yes, with conditions. Withdrawals 48+ hours before the tournament start receive a full refund. Withdrawals 24–48 hours before receive a 50% refund. Withdrawals less than 24 hours before are non-refundable. See our full Refund Policy for details.
Is VORTEX eSports affiliated with Garena or Free Fire MAX?
No. VORTEX eSports is a completely independent, third-party tournament organizer. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Garena International or Free Fire MAX in any way. We organize tournaments within the Free Fire MAX game environment as independent event coordinators.
