Tournament outcomes are determined exclusively by:

• Player skill, reflexes, and tactical decision-making
• Team coordination and communication
• Match strategy and game knowledge
• Consistency of performance across multiple rounds

No element of chance, randomness, or luck determines tournament outcomes. Entry fees constitute participation costs for competitive events, not stakes in a game of chance.

VORTEX eSports tournaments comply with Indian laws governing skill-based gaming competitions. Under the legal framework applicable in India, skill-based games are distinguished from gambling as they require application of skill, knowledge, and practice.

• We do not operate, facilitate, or promote any form of gambling or betting
• We do not accept wagers or bets on match outcomes
• We do not offer games of chance in any form
• Entry fees are tournament participation fees for skill-based events, not gambling stakes
• Prize pools are structured rewards for competitive performance, not gambling winnings
• All tournaments have predetermined, transparent prize structures announced before registration

Tournament Risk Notice

Participation in VORTEX eSports tournaments carries inherent risks that participants accept by registering:

Technical Risks

• Game server outages or maintenance by Garena outside our control
• Free Fire MAX updates or patches that alter gameplay during a tournament period
• Anti-cheat system actions by Garena that may affect accounts
• Match room technical failures requiring restart or rescheduling

Competitive Risks

• Competitive outcomes are not guaranteed. Participation does not guarantee prize winnings
• VORTEX eSports cannot guarantee equal competition across all skill levels
• Brackets and match-ups are determined by registration order or random draw as specified per tournament

Financial Risk

• Entry fees are participation costs and may not be recovered if you do not win
• VORTEX eSports recommends participants only register if they can afford the entry fee without financial hardship
• Prize amounts are clearly specified before each tournament and may only be altered per our Terms & Conditions

Internet & Connectivity Disclaimer

VORTEX eSports tournaments are conducted online and are subject to the following connectivity-related disclaimers:

• VORTEX eSports is not responsible for players' internet service provider failures, network outages, or connection drops during matches
• Players are responsible for ensuring a stable, adequate internet connection before and during tournament matches
• Match results will not be invalidated solely due to a player's connectivity issues unless both teams are affected
• Players experiencing connectivity issues during a match must immediately notify administrators via Discord or WhatsApp
• VORTEX eSports reserves the right to determine whether connectivity issues justify a rematch on a case-by-case basis
• High-ping or server-related issues caused by Garena's infrastructure are treated differently from player-side connectivity failures

Prize Modification Rights

VORTEX eSports reserves the right to modify prize structures under the following limited circumstances:

• Insufficient tournament registrations failing to meet the minimum participant threshold required to sustain the announced prize pool
• Discovery of widespread cheating that renders clean results impossible to determine
• Force majeure events that prevent tournament completion
• Payment gateway issues that affect prize distribution

Third-Party Platform Disclaimer

VORTEX eSports operates across multiple third-party platforms. The following disclaimers apply:

• Discord: VORTEX eSports' Discord server operates subject to Discord's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for Discord platform outages or policy changes that affect our server
• WhatsApp: Communication via WhatsApp is subject to Meta's terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for WhatsApp service interruptions
• Instagram: Our Instagram presence is subject to Meta's platform policies. Content may be removed or restricted per Instagram's guidelines
